Wie auf vielen anderen Blogs beschrieben, kann man Google Assistant (zB für Nest Hubs) sehr einfach mit Home Assistant verknüpfen. Eine Variante ist mit Nabu Casa, hier hat man regelmäßige Kosten, ist aber sehr einfach konfigurierbar. Die zweite Variante ist über DuckDNS, Nginx und ein bisschen Router Konfiguration. Hier gibt es einige gute Beschreibungen online wie man das Umsetzen kann. Diese Variante ist grundsätzlich kostenlos, erfordert aber einiges an Konfiguration. Außerdem ist es wichtig, dass man eine öffentlich eindeutige IP hat. Bei vielen ISPs (speziell bei mobilen Internet Providern) wird CGNAT eingesetzt, was wiederum ein Hindernis für Variante 2 ist. Außerdem ist es wichtig, dass der Router NAT Loopback bzw. Hairpinning unterstützt, damit man ein Home Assistant Dashboard auf einem Google Nest Hub anzeigen kann.

Ich habe einen Somfy Tahoma Hub und diesen mit Home Assistant integriert, damit ich Lichter aber auch Markisen per Home Assistant steuern kann. Ich kann hier vor allem die Shutter Card empfehlen, da es mit dieser sehr einfach ist die Markisen auf die gewünschte Position zu bringen. Das System funktioniert sehr zuverlässig und man kann natürlich auch bestimmte Automatisierungen machen. zB automatisches Schließen der Markisen wenn die Temperatur einen gewissen Threshold überschritten hat. By the way: Somfy lässt sich auch einfach mit Google Assistant verknüpfen, damit mit man per Sprachsteuerung Licht und Markisen steuern kann.

Wenn du auf der Suche nach einer Wetterstation bist, die direkt und einfach in Home Assistant integriert werden kann, wirst du mit der Sainlogic WS3500 fündig. Die physische aber auch die Softwareinstallation ist denkbar einfach und mit den beigelegten Anleitungen schnell durchzuführen. Um die Wetterstation in Home Assistant zu ingerieren habe ich das Ecowitt Integration verwendet (installiert über HACS). Dadurch sind die Daten auch direkt über Home Assistant anzeigbar - inkl. Regendaten, was mir besonders wichtig war.   Ich nutze trotzdem noch häufig die Ecowitt App, da gerade historische Daten hier sehr schön in Grafiken dargestellt werden können.

Arrival We had a night flight from Frankfurt to Rio, so we arrived very early in Rio. The transfer was organized by the hotel ( Injoy Hostel in Botafogo ) and cost 85 BRL. Preparation & Arrival Before going to the Ilha Grande we were told to get a lot of cash because there are no ATMs on the island. This is true, however, most restaurants bars and tour operators accept plastic. Some tours charge an extra fee though if you pay by credit card. To get to the Ilha Grande, we asked our hotel in Rio to organize a transfer – it turned out to be Easytransfer. Initially we were thinking about taking a public bus and then a boat, but the fully organized transfer was 95 BRL per person, so not too bad. It included the transfer in a minivan and the boat. Be aware that it can take some time until you leave Rio, depending on which other hotels the bus needs to go to to pick up other guests.
